In Afghanistan, families have experienced the 2025 earthquake and other crises including conflict, drought, and food insecurity. We provide emergency assistance through our global network and local partners.

We have supported community-led transformation for many people living in Bangladesh since 1965. Through programs in health, literacy, justice education, and small business development, families are strengthening their incomes and overcoming poverty.

We began working in Burkina Faso in November 2025, responding to ongoing conflict that
has displaced many families. We work alongside our local partners to provide urgent food
needs to families affected by this crisis.

Despite the legacy of past conflict, Cambodia is rebuilding its communities and leadership. Since 1972, we’ve worked with local partners to strengthen local decision- making through training in governance, livelihoods, and essential services.

Since 1979, World Renew has supported a unique private sponsorship program that enables Canadian churches to resettle more than 11,000 refugees. Across Canada, churches and schools use our resources to engage in justice, compassion, and advocacy.

For over a decade, we have been working in the DRC, responding to drought and conflict which have left families displaced and food insecure. We provide support by offering agricultural and economic training, food, and other essentials.

Since 1976, we’ve worked alongside communities in Guatemala to strengthen agriculture, health, and livelihoods. Our programs focus on Indigenous and rural areas, where we support local leadership and ongoing reconciliation following decades of conflict and inequality.

Since 1975, we’ve partnered with communities in Haiti to strengthen food security, agriculture, and livelihoods, while responding to disasters and ongoing challenges. Our work addresses chronic hunger and builds resilience.

Since 1974, we’ve supported families in Honduras through livelihoods development, food security, water and sanitation, and youth and women’s empowerment. Our programs help farmers and communities adapt to extreme weather, recurring drought, and economic instability.

We’ve worked in India since 1999, partnering with local organizations on community development, food security, agriculture, and economic opportunity. Despite recent economic growth, many communities continue to face child malnutrition, limited access to education, and the impacts of climate change.

We support communities in Kenya through food security, economic opportunity, community health, disaster response, and peace and justice initiatives. Since 1972, we’ve helped families address poverty, climate-driven food insecurity, child malnutrition, and limited rural livelihoods.

Since 1997, we have supported rural communities through agriculture training, teacher training, clean water systems, literacy classes, health education, and leadership development. Our programs help improve food security, health, and community well-being across diverse ethnic communities.

We have been working in Lebanon since 2012, responding to the needs of vulnerable Lebanese families while assisting refugees who have fled the prolonged civil war in Syria. World Renew has delivered food vouchers and kits, winterization support, and other emergency assistance through our local and global network of partners.

In Madagascar, we have been responding to many crises such as cyclones, locust invasion, and drought since 2013. We provide food assistance, economic recovery, and agricultural training to vulnerable families through our global networks.

Since 1989, we’ve partnered with communities in Malawi to improve food security, economic opportunity, community health, disaster preparedness, and resilience. Our programs respond to drought, flooding, soil degradation, and barriers to health and education.

We have worked alongside churches and other partners in Mali since 1985. Our programs promote peace in families and communities, offer trauma healing, and invest in economic empowerment, food security, and support for displaced and vulnerable people.

In Myanmar, families have been left vulnerable and displaced by storms, flooding, conflict, and most recently, earthquakes. We work with local partners to provide emergency assistance, including food, clean water, shelter, hygiene kits, water and sanitation training, and livelihood recovery support.

Since 1973, we’ve worked with communities in Nicaragua to strengthen agriculture, clean water access, livelihoods, church mobilization, and disaster resilience. Our programs build food security, opportunity, and preparedness in a country vulnerable to natural disasters.

We have partnered with communities in Niger since 1992 to strengthen food security, community health, and economic well-being. Through a “nexus approach,” our programs integrate community development, disaster response, and peacebuilding to support nutrition, health, livelihoods, and social cohesion.

Since 1969, we have partnered with Nigerian communities to promote peace and justice, community health, economic opportunity, disability inclusion, and disaster response. Programs support families affected by poverty, displacement, and conflict through livelihood training and trauma healing.

Somalia has faced recurring drought for many years, leaving families severely food insecure. We support families through food assistance and nutrition programs alongside our global network partners.

In South Sudan, drought and conflict have led to displacement and food insecurity for families. Since 2010, we have supported refugees, returnees, and host communities with agricultural training, economic recovery, food assistance, and psychosocial support
through local partners and global networks.

In Sudan, families have experienced displacement and food insecurity due to the impacts of prolonged drought and conflict. We implement vital projects to provide vulnerable families with food, shelter, agricultural training, and economic recovery through our global network partners.

We have worked in Tanzania since 1993, supporting food security, improved farming practices, savings groups, and advocacy for vulnerable families. Programs strengthen livelihoods while providing targeted assistance for widows, orphans, and people living with HIV/AIDS.

We have worked in Thailand since 2024, responding to displacement caused by flooding and conflict in neighbouring Myanmar. Through our global networks, we provide families and vulnerable people with shelter, agricultural training, and support for economic recovery.

Since 1982, we’ve partnered with communities in Uganda to strengthen agriculture, support village savings and loan groups, and build church and community capacity. Together, families are improving food security, income, and their resilience to economic
and climate shocks.

Since the start of the conflict in Ukraine in 2022, millions of Ukrainians remain displaced and facing urgent needs. We support them with food, medical care, psychosocial support, and other essentials through our global partner networks.

With generous support from volunteers, World Renew Disaster Response Services (DRS) repair homes in disaster-affected communities in the U.S., giving vulnerable homeowners a chance to rebuild their lives. Churches and community groups in the United States use our resources to explore how to live out the call to justice, compassion, and advocacy.

We have worked in Zambia since 1990, supporting vulnerable communities through agriculture, community health, livelihoods training, drought response, and savings groups. These vital programs address rural poverty, food insecurity, unemployment, and maternal and child health.
