Nigeria

Since 1969, we have partnered with Nigerian communities to promote peace and justice, community health, economic opportunity, disability inclusion, and disaster response. Programs support families affected by poverty, displacement, and conflict through livelihood training and trauma healing.

Nicaragua

Since 1973, we’ve worked with communities in Nicaragua to strengthen agriculture, clean water access, livelihoods, church mobilization, and disaster resilience. Our programs build food security, opportunity, and preparedness in a country vulnerable to natural disasters.

Niger

We have partnered with communities in Niger since 1992 to strengthen food security, community health, and economic well-being. Through a “nexus approach,” our programs integrate community development, disaster response, and peacebuilding to support nutrition, health, livelihoods, and social cohesion.

Myanmar

In Myanmar, families have been left vulnerable and displaced by storms, flooding, conflict, and most recently, earthquakes. We work with local partners to provide emergency assistance, including food, clean water, shelter, hygiene kits, water and sanitation training, and livelihood recovery support.

Mali

We have worked alongside churches and other partners in Mali since 1985. Our programs promote peace in families and communities, offer trauma healing, and invest in economic empowerment, food security, and support for displaced and vulnerable people.

Malawi

Since 1989, we’ve partnered with communities in Malawi to improve food security, economic opportunity, community health, disaster preparedness, and resilience. Our programs respond to drought, flooding, soil degradation, and barriers to health and education.

Madagascar

In Madagascar, we have been responding to many crises such as cyclones, locust invasion, and drought since 2013. We provide food assistance, economic recovery, and agricultural training to vulnerable families through our global networks.

Lebanon

We have been working in Lebanon since 2012, responding to the needs of vulnerable Lebanese families while assisting refugees who have fled the prolonged civil war in Syria. World Renew has delivered food vouchers and kits, winterization support, and other emergency assistance through our local and global network of partners.

Laos

Since 1997, we have supported rural communities through agriculture training, teacher training, clean water systems, literacy classes, health education, and leadership development. Our programs help improve food security, health, and community well-being across diverse ethnic communities.

Kenya

We support communities in Kenya through food security, economic opportunity, community health, disaster response, and peace and justice initiatives. Since 1972, we’ve helped families address poverty, climate-driven food insecurity, child malnutrition, and limited rural livelihoods.

We’ve worked in India since 1999, partnering with local organizations on community development, food security, agriculture, and economic opportunity. Despite recent economic growth, many communities continue to face child malnutrition, limited access to education, and the impacts of climate change.

Guatemala

Since 1976, we’ve worked alongside communities in Guatemala to strengthen agriculture, health, and livelihoods. Our programs focus on Indigenous and rural areas, where we support local leadership and ongoing reconciliation following decades of conflict and inequality.

Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)

For over a decade, we have been working in the DRC, responding to drought and conflict which have left families displaced and food insecure. We provide support by offering agricultural and economic training, food, and other essentials.

Cambodia

Despite the legacy of past conflict, Cambodia is rebuilding its communities and leadership. Since 1972, we’ve worked with local partners to strengthen local decision- making through training in governance, livelihoods, and essential services.

Canada

Since 1979, World Renew has supported a unique private sponsorship program that enables Canadian churches to resettle more than 11,000 refugees. Across Canada, churches and schools use our resources to engage in justice, compassion, and advocacy.

Burkina Faso

We began working in Burkina Faso in November 2025, responding to ongoing conflict that
has displaced many families. We work alongside our local partners to provide urgent food
needs to families affected by this crisis.

Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, families have experienced the 2025 earthquake and other crises including
conflict, drought, and food insecurity. We provide emergency assistance through our
global network and local partners.
