World Renew walks alongside communities to improve health through practical, life-saving support. Together with local partners and global networks, we equip community health volunteers, strengthen local health systems, and ensure care reaches even the most remote families.
The well-being of mothers, babies, and young children influences the future of a community and the health of the next generation. We work to ensure good health for moms and proper care and nutrition for children during the first 1,000 days of life so they have a better chance for a healthier future.
Our health programs focus on prevention and education while supporting access to local health services, rather than operating hospitals or clinics directly. Volunteers receive training in key health topics and facilitation skills to educate and support communities. Our training and programs are also designed to identify social norms and address any barriers to positive behavioural change.
