In late August, severe monsoon rains across Nepal triggered catastrophic flooding and landslides in multiple regions of the country. Exceptionally heavy rainfall caused rivers to swell beyond their banks, sweeping away homes, roads, bridges, and critical infrastructure.
According to the United Nations, at least 93,000 people are estimated to have been affected by flooding in Nepal and require urgent humanitarian assistance.
As a member of the Integral Alliance, World Renew is working with trusted partners to assess needs and determine how best to support communities affected by the Nepal floods. We invite you to join us in prayer for the people of Nepal. And if you are able, please consider making a gift to support emergency relief efforts and the recovery work that lies ahead.
Your gift helps make a timely response possible as opportunities emerge to provide assistance to flooding in Nepal.
